I have not traveled in a year and two months. But the worst is not being able to visit Morocco anymore; it holds a very special place in my heart. If you know me you know that my dream as a child was to visit Morocco. Apart from that, do you know what I miss the most? The bread! So, what better way to travel than through a Moroccan bread recipe? Let’s go make some khobz. What is khobz? For those who wonder what khobz means, it means bread. It is Moroccan Darija spelling, not traditional Arabic spelling. However, the…
I have never looked forward to the Christmas season more than this year. It must be due to the unfortunate year we’ve had. Preparing for Christmas is kind of an escape from the doom and gloom. Of course, some people have chosen not to celebrate and with good reason. Decorating my own Christmas tree has been quite the fun time I needed this year. I’ve had Christmas trees in the past but never had the opportunity to decorate how I desired. This year, it was all me. And I think I did a hell of a job being that my…
Over the weekend, we went out for some coffee and breakfast. I’ve missed getting breakfast outside. I love the yogurt because it comes in little glass jars just like yogurts and mousse in France. It’s the closest thing I have to a French supermarket. And they’re really yummy. Another plus is that you can save the jars for later which I always do. Aside from the yogurt, we have my beautiful Olympus camera in the color brown. It has been discontinued and Olympus has recently announced that they will no longer be in…
Just found the closest supermarket to me that sells the best homemade bread for bruschetta. It’s a couple of blocks farther than my nearest supermarket but it’s worth the walk. I’ve been looking to buy some good homemade bread for the longest. Too bad I don’t live in Paris where a well-made baguette is within easy reach. I can make it but it takes two to three hours so I’ll pass on my own homemade bread. Anyways, I also bought a mozzarella ball and some cherry tomatoes. Threw it together with the toasted bread and some chopped kale leaves and…
