Christmas was great this year. Not only did we celebrate the holiday but we also celebrated my sister’s birthday. The double celebration was all my niece’s idea; she wanted to do something special for my sister. And she did do something special. For the holidays, we baked gingerbread cookies! Maggie had such a great time assisting me in preparing the dough and designing the cookies. My mom also designed her fair share of gingerbread men. It was a great family bonding moment.
