Having an annoying cold and working at the same time is a big no-no. I had to work from home, this past weekend, to prevent an office annoyance from my sniffling and sneezing. Whenever I feel under the weather, I have a list of must-haves. I definitely need my Ricola cough drops, in Honey-Herb preferably. Even if I don’t have a cough, I need the Ricola to moisturize my throat. I prefer Ricola to other brands because it doesn’t irritate my throat with a strong menthol taste. With this rain today, one can only wish to stay home by the fireplace sipping hot chocolate or even sipping soup. One soup that gets me every time is Moroccan Harira soup. For those who don’t know, it’s a Moroccan soup filled with lentils, chickpeas, and tomato goodness.
I’m currently reading The Beautiful Fall by Alicia Drake. I have to say that it’s a great book if you want to get to know more about Yves Saint Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld, and Morocco. I love when it talks about Yves Saint Laurent fascination with Morocco’s culture and also his love story with Pierre Biergé.
