Creating recipes take time, a lot of patience, and a whole lot of ingredients. Sometimes a recipe will be successful and other times it’ll be a disaster. This is when you’re ingredients go to waste unless you still eat your creation. Sigh.
Take these blueberry muffins for example. The batter tasted sweet just as a ripe blueberry and when the muffins were finished, they lacked sweetness. But the good part was that the muffins came out soft and moist. I have to look at the bright side. I still have a lot to work on in the kitchen.
I have been practicing my recipe building skills as well as my dark food photography skills. My older food photos were brighter but I think I’m really enjoying these dark and moody shots. What do you guys think? Do you like the dark food photography or prefer brighter shots?
