A Pop-Up Marché at Ocabanon

OCabanon had this wonderful pop-up marché event at its restaurant on Saturday afternoon. All New York Francophiles were welcomed. There were different vendors offering samples of their French food products. It was a very tasty time indeed. The event was made in partnership with Edible and Taste France. There were vendors for Président butter, Valbreso cheese, Nergi kiwi berries, Perrier, Bornibus, and La French Baguette. Three wine tickets were offered to each attendee. We tried red wine, rosé, and white wine. They were all really smooth wines. But that wasn’t all of the drinks. At the Perrier stand, we were…

New eclipse, new me

I’m not sure if it’s the summer weather that’s making me feel rejuvenated or it’s the fact that the solar eclipse was in my first house. Could be both right? I haven’t shopped for myself in, what feels like, years. I’m probably exaggerating though. It’s more like, I haven’t splurged in years. The collection consists of seven different pastries representing seven popular cities from around the world. I did not buy any from the collection but I was content with my…

Sweet December Holidays

There’s nothing better than the winter holidays and festivities. My favorite part are the decorations and lights that are put up everywhere. Oh and the holiday markets are the best! You can get great gifts there. My go-to ones are the one in Union Square and the one on 59th street. They’re like mazes but no worries you won’t get lost.   Yesterday we went to Bergdorf Goodman to see the holiday window displays; it’s an absolute must to see if you’re visiting NYC in the winter. This year, Bergdorf Goodman’s theme is sweets. The windows were filled with cotton…
