Yum! Doesn’t everyone love sweet plantains and salami for breakfast? If you don’t, or have never tried it, you must. Pair it with some coconut water and start your day right. It is a heavy breakfast but it keeps you full for a long time.
Now, even though it is a delicious alternative, I wouldn’t say it’s the healthiest of healthiest. Quite the opposite. It’s deep fried plantains and sometimes deep fried salami. The only “healthy” option would be the eggs. I added sautéed spinach on this breakfast with parsley flakes.
Just remember, no matter how you enjoy this breakfast, it’s always okay to cheat a little.
