Sure, there may not be indoor playgrounds with pizza readily available but kids get to experience a different lifestyle. Below are some activities that you may enjoy doing with your kids. 01. Traditional Breakfasts On this last trip with Maggie, I realized that she adored the traditional Moroccan breakfasts. I observed her as she…

    Riad Mouna Review

Riad Mouna, a humble yet alluring riad in the heart of Jemaa el-Fnaa. I grew a love for this riad as I stayed there the two times I visited Marrakech. The riad is no La Mamounia or El Fenn but it has the greatest perk of being located in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the red city. And it’s a beautiful and traditional riad with a loving staff. You can’t go wrong with that.

    Marrakech Travel Vlog

Having wanted to visit Morocco since a little girl, I was extremely happy setting foot in Marrakech. The city isn’t called the Red City for nothing. There’s so much to do and see within the city’s pink walls. This time we decided to visit almost every museum and landmark possible. I checked off a lot from my itinerary but there’s still much to check off. However, I’m especially thankful for having visited Musée Yves Saint Laurent only a month after it’s opening. In March, I had visited Jardin Majorelle. Can I just say it was the most beautiful garden? In the coming days I will be posting more about our…

How to Shop A Moroccan Souk

Here at The Style Spread, we just love to go shopping. We love it even more when it’s abroad. You get unique items that you probably wouldn’t have been able to get in your local boutique. In Morocco, these unique items are found at the Moroccan souks.  The souk is basically a market where different things are sold. You can get tea sets, scarves, leather goods, and even spices. We think it’s one of the most exciting parts of visiting Morocco. The only part that is not so exciting is the haggling that has to be done. But don’t worry, we are going to show you how to effectively shop the souk…

    La Maison Arabe

This past week was an amazing time that I would always cherish in my memory. I went on a trip to Paris and then to Marrakech and then to Meknes. It was whirlwind of events but worth every second. Let me start off by saying that Morocco has been my dream place since I was 13. It’s something about the culture that attracts me. I was lucky enough to have this dream become a reality and even luckier I will be when I go for a second time.
